Rookery Manor Hotel Wedding, Somerset

Michael & Roxy kicked off their wedding day at Bedminster Church of Christ, Bristol and then onto their reception at Rookery Manor. The 16th century manor house has beautiful lakeside gardens, wonderfully manicured flowerbeds and a huge marquee in the grounds.

My favourite moment was while the wedding party was running around getting ready, Roxy’s nephews, although suited and booted, were not afraid to get their hands dirty. Finding a woodlouse and using a empty cardboard kitchen roll to look at it like a microscope! Michael & Roxy had their engagement shoot with me, which is a great way to prepare and help you to feel more relaxed about having your couple photos captured on your big day. It’s also a great way for me to get to know you. That way I can accurately capture you and your story when the day comes around! Congratulations Michael & Roxy – I loved being able to capture your special day!

I would definitely recommend Heather, she is very professional and provided a great service. The photos were top quality and she went above and beyond what was asked of her. To prepare for the big day, we had an engagement shoot which helped us prepare and understand what was going to happen on the wedding day. She was very helpful and understanding.
