Micro Church Wedding, Bristol

Love in a pandemic

Love that not even a pandemic could stop — Dani & Mackenzie’s day! My one wedding that worked out of summer 2020 was the one I wasn’t actually planning to do. But when your brother-in-law and lovely fiancé decide to continue with their original plan to get hitched despite the pandemic, you jump at the chance.

Their wedding day looked very different from what they had originally planned. Due to restrictions, the couple had 30 of their nearest and dearest instead of the original 100 plus. But the important part was they got married in the church they met in as youngsters.

The bride did a fabulous job, creating the bouquets herself from picking the best blooms from their local supermarket. The couple had a relaxed wedding meal at home with close family and ended the night with a display of fireworks in the back garden. Congratulations Mackenzie & Dani, very much looking forward to part two next year. Micro weddings will be around for a little longer but Dani & Mackenzie show us that a wedding with covid restrictions is just as beautiful.

Heather photographed our wedding at short notice due to covid regulations, and we are so happy with her work. For a couple who doesn’t like having photos taken, Heather made us feel calm and relaxed. She is very talented and professional, and did an amazing job capturing candid moments. We would definitely recommend Heather!
