Natural Wedding Photographer Carmarthenshire

Vicky & Alex celebrated their wedding at Firecrest Valley Glamping, Llandysul in Carmarthenshire, West Wales. The newlyweds got married in Thailand but wanted to celebrate with family & friends in Wales too so did so on their family’s glamping site.

A HEATWAVE IN WALES?

The wedding day was pushing 28 degrees which for a wedding photographer used to our wonderful Welsh weather – this was amazing! The weather really did bring all their plans together perfectly. As they had a very much outdoor party planned with a marquee on the beautiful tree-lined campsite. Luckily the bride and groom were prepared for the warm weather with ice lollies and a slip ‘n’ slide to help keep their guests cool.

WEDDING DAY FOUR-LEGGED-FRIENDS ALWAYS WELCOME

The dogs, of course, had to make an appearance. The couple were concerned they might not sit for photos. But we managed to get the relaxed & natural bride-groom-plus-the-dogs portraits they were after.

I loved Vicky & Alex’s idea to keep the day as fun-filled as possible with a football match, slide ‘n’ slide, gladiator game and to top it off a Bucking Bronco that the bride and groom embraced in their wedding outfits!

Nothing better than a wedding day that gets extended to a full weekend. The bride & groom invited their friends to camp after the wedding. This meant they could make the most of the glorious weather & beautiful surroundings.

The newlyweds had booked the most delicious vegan fast food to cater for their wedding celebration; Vegan Filth. Although, I’m not a vegan myself I could happily be if I could eat that burger every day! See all the vendors Vicky & Alex booked at the end of this blog post.

WEDDING DAY GOLDEN HOUR PORTRAITS

The day was topped off with the most glorious golden hour. Bride & groom had already changed out of their wedding outfits by now. It meant for really relaxed end-of-the-weddng-day portraits that I think are really special. Natural & relaxed & surrounded by nature – what could be better!
