Formerly a country house hotel & restaurant, known as Llansantffraed Court Hotel, Sant Ffraed House is the newest addition to The Oldwalls Collection. Sant Ffraed House is a Grade II-listed country estate built in 1912 set within 14 acres of rolling Monmouthshire countryside. The Oldwalls Collection, also includes two of Wales’ most popular wedding venues, Oldwalls Gower and Fairyhill & now they have the lovely Sant Ffraed House to add to the group.
Blooms for Alice & Jack’s day were loving crafted by Wild & Fabulous Flowers; so unique & abundant in their aesthetic – they were a real showstopper!

Situated in the Usk Valley, the Monmouthshire wedding venue is a blend of high-society heritage with a chic, modern edge. Inside, the feel is very opulent but comfortable with panoramic drawing rooms, lounges and views of the green rolling hills of South Wales.
The Oldwalls Collection prides itself on creating an exclusive wedding experience. Sant Ffraed House offers a reception and ceremony space for 150+ guests, as well as guest accommodation, two bars and an evening reception space. The country house has views of Sugar Loaf mountain & is a short drive from the quaint market town of Abergavenny.
The church of St Bride (or St Bridget), restored in 1858, sits in view of Sant Ffraed, as well as a lake where local wild-life can be spotted – especially a resident grey heron.
