BLUEBELL WOODS FAMILY SHOOT – NEWPORT + CARDIFF – SOUTH WALES
WHAT’S HAPPENING?
In April, I’ll be running bluebell mini shoots for families in St Julian’s Park, Newport & Cefn Onn Park, Cardiff. Let’s create some beautiful portraits in our Welsh bluebell woodlands!
A welcome sight after a long winter & a sure sign spring is in full swing.
WHY BLUEBELLS?
Almost half of the world’s bluebells are found in the United Kingdom making them a distinctive natural icon of our home. They are found in ancient woodland and are a great opportunity for you to enjoy the outdoors with your family especially if you haven’t explored them in this spot before. Bluebells feature in lots of mythology & folklore as well as being a symbol of humility, constancy, gratitude and everlasting love. A lovely experience to share with your little ones.

NEWPORT – St Julian’s Park
CARDIFF – Cefn Onn Park
WHAT DATE?
Tuesday 14th April – Sunday 3rd May.
WHAT TIME?
Most of my spots will be afternoon sessions. However some days I may have morning spots available. I tend to avoid midday so that the sun is a little lower in the sky for a more gentle light.

Need a longer session?
TAKE CARE:
I want to promote an appreciation of our beautiful bluebell woods while still preserving this native wild flower. We’ll keep to paths and stand at the edge to make sure we appreciate them without causing damage to the flowers. The image above shows the girls carefully treading the path that runs through.
