With the lovely Funk & Fable, I returned to one of my favourite spots for band photo shoots; Roath Park. Easy proximity wise to Cardiff centre, it doesn’t feel like you’re right in the middle of Wales’ capital. Roath park is a natural haven in the city & Roath Park’s conservatory transports you to the tropics with a warm temperature & large palms. Cardiff is a popular location for filming and recently the conservatory featured on Disney’s Black Cake, a leafy scene set in Jamaica.

We explored Roath Park conservatory and the surrounding wooded areas to capture a variety of beautiful images for their upcoming album. After shooting in the conservatory, Funk & Fable had a little outfit change while I scoped out the woodland. Finding the most dramatic tree to climb, we shot some of my favourites images framed by its trunk. I love the moody vibes the autumn colours create.
