The Glebelands Park in Newport offers wide open green spaces and scenic walking trails along the River Usk. Despite being right in the heart of the city, it provides a generous stretch of nature to appreciate within the city. The park includes several sports fields, children’s play areas and woodland, making it a popular destination for dog walkers and anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors.

With its mature trees and peaceful ponds, the park is an ideal place to enjoy a gentle stroll or for little ones to burn off energy! I’m especially fond of the row of horse chestnut trees in spring, when their white blossoms and impressive canopies are at their best.

Early morning & afternoon spots available. I tend to avoid midday so that the sun is a little lower in the sky for a more gentle light.
