GLEWSTONE COURT OUTDOOR WEDDING, ROSS-ON-WYE, HEREFORDSHIRE

Qiellor & Cath tied-the-knot at Herefordshire’s Glewstone Court Country House near Ross-on-Wye. Glewstone Court is a Grade II listed Georgian Manor House; it’s listed on the English Heritage Register. It was built by wealthy landowner, Charles Ballinger, from Gloucestershire and today it’s a beautiful, historic wedding venue providing high end accommodation and catering for wedding days.

The couple had the most beautiful outdoor ceremony surrounded by the orchard & the views of the hills beyond. Qiellor’s face seeing Cath for the first time on the aisle is still my favourite memory of the day!

Glewstone is full of character; beautifully tiled corridors, a sweeping staircase & fireplaces throughout. It is surrounded by manicured gardens and vast apple orchards and fields showcasing the best of Herefordshire’s countryside.

I couldn’t get enough photographs of the hallway with The Bloom Room’s flowers cascading down the staircase and the cake topped with matching florals positioned at the base. The combination of colours along with the floor tiles and the light hitting just right – was truly beautiful.

Glewstone Court dates back to the 17th century. The country house has sandstone with limestone dressings & a roof of Welsh slate.

The team at Glewstone Court Country House are really excellent; very accommodating, organised and a pleasure to work with. They put every effort to make the bride & groom’s day at Glewstone Court perfection.

Glewstone Court has a lovely choice of indoor & outdoor ceremony locations as well as a choice of reception spaces including the country house itself with the option of a marquee on the lawn. Couples can choose between the scenic backdrop of the orchards for their outdoor ceremony or the shade under the 500-year-old Cedar tree.

After their speeches, the bride and groom took a walk around the grounds to capture their couple portraits, including the lovely orchard which was bathed in the light of golden hour. We took a wander down to a nearby field to catch the last of the light – some of my favourite photographs of the day. Glewstone Court has lots of versatility in terms of beautiful backdrops for wedding photography!

Qiellor & Cath had a blend of Welsh & Albanian traditions; Welsh cakes, Albanian sweet treats & traditional dancing in the evening.

Thank you Qiellor & Cath – for including me in such a special day; congratulations to a lovely pair!
