William & Chenelle chose the beautiful Plas Dinam Country House to get married. It’s been on my Welsh-wedding-venue ‘bucket list’ for a while now! And I was thrilled when William & Chenelle chose me as their wedding photographer. And Plas Dinam really did not disappoint!

Built in 1873, Plas Dinam was a family home for generations & is now an award winning country house perfect for all kinds of celebrations – especially weddings!
Set in the beautiful rolling greenery of Mid Wales, this Powys wedding venue sleeps up to 34 guests in 15 bedrooms. The beautiful Stables is a blend of the traditional with a glass roofed dining & party space.
Plas Dinam Country House has a selection of ceremony locations that accommodate a range of guest numbers; with indoors or outdoors options. Engaged couples can choose from tying-the-knot in Plas Dinam’s drawing room, the hall, the Stables. Or for an outdoor ceremony; in front of the house, wildflower meadow, a chose of lawns, woodland with its gorgeous leafy canopy. Many outdoor ceremony locations have a spectacular mountain view. There is also St Llonio’s church in Llandinam that’s only a short walk away.

Friendly and family run, Plas Dinam offers a relaxed experience – letting couples choose their own suppliers & bring their own drinks. The team at Plas Dinam pride themselves on doing away with restrictions. Giving their couples freedom to personalise and sculpt their wedding day.
Plas Dinam’s secret lake is a real treat for couple portraits and elopements. Realistically it’s not possible to take a bad photo at this venue! Although we didn’t make it down to the lake, newlywed portraits of William & Chenelle around Plas Dinam’s grounds are some of my favourites. And I love that they included a nod to Chenelle’s Cameroonian heritage; changing into traditional matching outfits in the evening!
