WHAT’S HAPPENING?
On Saturday 2nd & Saturday 16th May 2026, I’ll be running waterfall mini shoots for families in the Bannau Brycheiniog – Brecon Beacons. Let’s have an adventure & capture some natural moments with the family!
My waterfall shoots in the officially renamed Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) are a favourite amongst my nature loving families. Whether you’re already an outdoorsy family or are wanting to get more active with the kids, the falls are a great opportunity to embrace the outdoors & explore somewhere new with the family. Getting out in nature is so important for our well-being and the sensory impact of a waterfall is both calming & stress reducing. What’s better than teaching the kids at a young age the impact of nature as a great way to de-stress? Having relaxed photos during these explorative moments in nature are a lovely keepsake.
WHY BLAEN-Y-GLYN ISAF?
Children really are fascinated by waterfalls. The falls make for a really dramatic and unique background for family photos; a great alternative to a normal photo shoot. There’s a large area of flat rock and shallow pools to explore in front of the fall. Exploring the outdoors is a great way to relax into having your portrait taken allowing me to capture some candid moments that you will love. I’ve done my research and found the most beautiful spot with the easiest access point for little legs. I’ve scouted out the route and it’s around a 10 minute walk to the falls.
